Ultra-resistant polycarbonate for technical prints

A high-performance filament designed for strong, heat-resistant parts

Le PC (Polycarbonate) is a filament renowned for its exceptional resistance to impact, heat and mechanical stress. It is ideal for industrial, automotive, aerospace and electronics applicationsrequiring high rigidity, dimensional stability and excellent thermal resistance. Thanks to its strength and natural transparency, it is also used for technical parts and optical components.

Why choose PC

Excellent mechanical strength and impact resistanceideal for technical parts.
High thermal resistancecan withstand temperatures in excess of 110°C.
Good dimensional stabilitylow stress deformation.
Resistant to chemicals and light solvents.
Can be post-treated sanding, painting, assembly, thermoforming.

Applications of PC

Mechanical and industrial parts Brackets, fixings, gears.
Electronic components and enclosures High thermal and electrical resistance.
Technical prototypes Testing parts subjected to extreme conditions.
Automotive and aerospace applications : Fairings, impact- and heat-resistant parts.

When not to choose PC

🚫 Printing in uncontrolled environments (high warping)

  • Alternative : PETG, ASA for more stable printing in open environments.

🚫 Flexibility requirements

  • Alternative : TPU 95A for flexible, shock-absorbing parts.

🚫 Prolonged exposure to humidity without prior drying

  • Alternative : PAHT-CF, PPA-CF for greater resistance to moisture absorption.

🚫 Prints requiring easy post-processing

  • Alternative : ABS, ASA for easier sanding and painting.
