Reinforced rigidity and strength with glass fibre

A robust filament designed for technical and industrial parts

Le ABS-GF is a composite filament combining mechanical properties of ABS to the increased rigidity of glass fibres. This material is designed for technical and industrial parts requiring high resistance to impact, wear and heat. It offers a superior dimensional stability and a low deformation ratemaking it ideal for structural parts, functional prototypes and mechanical components subjected to high levels of stress.

Why choose ABS-GF

Increased rigidity thanks to glass fibres.
Excellent resistance to impact and high temperatures.
Less warping than standard ABSA more stable impression.
Good mechanical strengthideal for industrial parts.
Resistant to chemicals and light solvents.

Applications of ABS-GF

Mechanical and industrial parts Supports, fixings, components subject to high loads.
Functional prototypes Testing structural parts before production.
Heat-resistant technical components Assembly parts, machine components.
Parts subject to chemical and mechanical stress Industrial and automotive environments.

When not to choose ABS-GF

🚫 Printing requiring flexibility

  • Alternative : TPU 95A for flexible, shock-absorbing parts.

🚫 Prolonged exposure to UV rays and bad weather

  • Alternative : ASA, ASA-CF for better outdoor performance.

🚫 Prints requiring easy post-processing

  • Alternative : Standard ABS for improved sanding and painting properties.

🚫 Parts requiring ultra-high mechanical and thermal resistance

  • Alternative : PA6-GF, PAHT-CF for advanced performance.
